Ban Lauren Ashley's Book That Glorifies Predatory Behavior

Ban Lauren Ashley's Book That Glorifies Predatory Behavior
The Issue
I, among many, find myself deeply troubled and horrified by the content of a book penned by Lauren Ashley. This book features a storyline involving an adult man harboring affection for a three-year-old child, inaccurately and misleadingly labelled as "dark romance". This is not only a gross misrepresentation of romance but an outright normalization of pedophilia, which is illegal, immoral, and harmful.
Furthermore, the author claims to have based the narrative on her own three-year-old daughter. This is deeply concerning, as it threatens the safety and mental health of the child in question. We worry that this could have a ripple effect, enabling soilers and creating a hazardous environment for all children.
It is highly disturbing to note that statistics indicate there are more than 42 million survivors of child sexual abuse in America (National Association to Protect Children). We cannot allow works like this to contribute to these chilling figures.
In a society where we strive for safety and innocence of all children, this book works to undermine our efforts. We demand that the publication of Lauren Ashley's book be immediately halted and all existing copies be removed from sale.
This is a grave matter that necessitates immediate attention and action. Stand with us against this denial of a child's right to innocence and safety. Please, sign this petition now to ban this book, protect potential victims, and call authors and publishers to higher ethical standards in their work.
