I am a resident of Richmond, VA, deeply concerned about the impact of video games like Kazwire on our youth in HCPS. My friends are constantly engrossed in these games, which I believe is hindering their intellectual growth. 

These games may seem harmless at first glance but they can lead to addiction. According to a study by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), excessive gaming can lead to problems such as decreased school performance, social isolation and even health issues like obesity.

Moreover, while Kazwire claims to foster creativity, it often results in hours spent on unproductive gaming instead of engaging in real-world activities that promote learning and development. If it is used in classes other than the main 4, then Kazwire should be allowed.

HCPS's future lies in the hands of our youth. It's crucial we provide an environment that promotes healthy habits and intellectual growth rather than mindless gaming.
