Ban Johnson Wen aka Pyjamamann from social media platforms, concerts & premieres

The Issue

At the Singapore Premiere of Wicked at Universal Studios Singapore, a moment meant to be filled with joy and anticipation turned into a day of chaos and disappointment for many fans. Among the enthusiastic crowd were young fans who had eagerly waited for hours, for the chance to see their beloved celebrities and enjoy a spectacular event. However, their joyous day was abruptly marred by the disruptive actions of Johnson Wen, also known as Pyjamamann.

Johnson Wen's actions were not only disruptive but also distressing. He assaulted Ariana Grande, causing  distress to the actress. the cast and the fans alike. He even tried assaulting her again when he escaped security.

More concerning is that Wen continues to promote his disruptive actions online, sharing these incidents across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. By glorifying such behavior, he inadvertently encourages others to emulate his actions, which poses a risk to public safety at various events. Social media platforms should not be a stage for promoting activities that can lead to chaos and harm.

We, therefore, urge Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube to take immediate action by banning Johnson Wen from their platforms. It is crucial that these platforms do not allow individuals to promote or glamorize harmful actions. By taking a strong stance, social media giants can help deter future disruptions and protect the integrity of public events. We also urge promoters of movie premieres, concerts and public events to ban his attendance.

Sign this petition to demand accountability and ensure safe, enjoyable experiences at public events for everyone. Together, we can protect what we cherish and prevent such disruptions from ruining special occasions in the future.
