Americans deserve more from their elected officials. While our country is suffering on every level (economically, socially, educationally) we are entertaining the wants and needs of foreign governments such as that of Israel. Many Americans have come to realize in recent years just how much of our tax dollars have been spent on Israel. Now, in an attempt to pacify the public, Netanyahu and the Israeli government are employing new tactics to hide their involvement and ease tensions while continuing to plunder American money and resources. For example, they are now bribing our politicians by donating to them through alternative PACs instead of AIPAC, since many American voters are now choosing non-AIPAC candidates. Even more recently, Netanyahu has attempted to force a bill that merges the US Military with the IDF. This is outrageous and this action alone should be punishable by law for any and all American officials who have allowed it. Elected officials should ONLY be representing and answering to American citizens. Any foreign interference in our government should be banned and any tolerance or cooperation by American lawmakers should be considered treason at the highest level.
