I am from Tamil Nadu, and it pains me deeply to see a genocidal country like Israel establishing operations in my home state. The Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is setting up an advanced radar manufacturing plant in the Shoolagiri Industrial Area of the Krishnagiri district. This initiative is part of a joint venture, ELTX Systems Pvt. Ltd., formed with the Indian defense manufacturer DCX Systems. As a Tamilian, our government should not support or engage in business with entities connected to widespread human rights violations and conflict.

Israel's actions and policies towards the Palestinian territories have long been a subject of global concern. Their continuous military aggression has been condemned by international communities and human rights organizations. By allowing an Israeli defense firm to operate within Tamil Nadu, we become complicit in these international disputes and indirectly endorse their violent actions.

Moreover, this collaboration does not align with the values and ethics our state stands for. Tamil Nadu has always been a land that embraces peace and diversity. Engaging in defense manufacturing with a country that is involved in widespread violence contradicts our fundamental principles.

We need to stand up and urge our state administration to reassess this decision immediately. Our collective voice is powerful, and through this petition, we can send a strong message that we, as residents of Tamil Nadu, demand an end to such collaborations that go against our values and the larger aim for global peace.
