The Issue

Many students, including myself, find Iready to be a monotonous and ineffective educational program. In schools around USA, students spend countless hours engaged with Iready, only to walk away having learned very little. This time investment is disproportionate to the benefits received, and in many cases, it's causing undue stress on students. I, along with many peers, often find ourselves sleep-deprived because we're forced to complete these tasks on top of an already heavy workload.

Iready is purportedly designed to enhance learning and efficiency, but the reality is starkly different. According to a study on the impact of digital learning programs, 67% of students reported feeling more stressed than engaged when using such platforms. Additionally, the EdTech industry sees an annual growth rate of over 16%, yet many of these solutions, like Iready, do not have evidence supporting their educational efficacy.

Parents, educators, and fellow students, it’s time to call for change. Let's replace Iready with more interactive and impactful learning tools that truly benefit our education. Other educational resources have shown much higher engagement and improvement rates in academic performance. Studies have shown that interactive and adaptive platforms improve student satisfaction by over 30% and learning outcomes by 25%.

We need teaching methods that are innovative and backed by proven success. Our students deserve better tools that foster genuine understanding and enthusiasm for learning. I urge the Education department to reconsider the use of Iready and explore more effective educational programs.

Sign this petition and let's work together to enhance our educational experience and well-being in schools. Your support will help us advocate for educational programs that truly enrich our learning. Together, we can push for the necessary changes in our schools.
