I, like many others, used to enjoy playing Fortnite. It was an important part of my relaxation and leisure time. But over time, the fun began to diminish, not because of the game itself but due to the growing prevalence of cheaters. Despite multiple complaints to the Fortnite team, nothing has changed. The lack of response on this issue has turned a game that was once enjoyable into a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Cheating in any form of competitive play undermines the core principles of fairness and competition. In Fortnite, however, the impact appears more pronounced because of its vast player base. With over 350 million registered users worldwide as of May 2020 (Statista), Fortnite’s ubiquity makes the presence of cheaters more detrimental to the overall gaming experience.

The primary purpose of this petition is not just to pick a fight with Epic Games (the creators of Fortnite), but to urge them to take a more proactive stance against cheaters who are tarnishing the gaming experience for everyone else. We aren't asking for an extreme measure like a total ban at first, but if the company does not take appropriate and effective steps in handling this issue, that is what we will demand.
