I know there have been petitions like this set up many times, but I wanted to set up another.

Every year our dog is affected by the noise of fireworks. He becomes extremely anxious, will not stop shaking and is continuously panting. Within a week of 5th November, he ends up completely bald in his groin area because of the stress.

We have purchased thunder jackets, snoods, plug ins and been prescribed Diazepam by the Vet. Nothing ever works.

Unfortunately, this year has been the worse one yet. Our boy broke out in a mass of hives, he wouldn’t sleep and cried constantly for 3 days.

Do people actually realise the upset they’re causing to our beloved pets? I wish they did!  I also wish they paid our vet bills when medication is needed before and after Bonfire night as a result of the trauma!

I have created this petition on 9th November as some idiot is setting fireworks off. Today was the first day our boy seemed a little more settled, after tonight’s fireworks we have now gone back to the beginning �

WHY can’t fireworks be silent? They can still light up the sky and look beautiful, but without the bangs which causes such upset to animals?

I am talking from a personal perspective, people also need to consider our wildlife. They must also be petrified!

I ask that we can get as many signatures as possible to either ban fireworks or alternatively, silence them?
