BAN CRUEL RAT POISON IN TORONTO

Rodenticide causes a slow and extremely painful death. It can take up to TEN DAYS for the rat to die.  Rodenticide works by stopping the blood’s ability to clot, this leads to internal bleeding.  The rat literally bleeds to death. The rodent becomes weaker and weaker, making it more susceptible to predators.  If a predator, such as a hawk, owl, or fox ingests a poisoned rat, the predator becomes poisoned as well and eventually dies a slow and painful death.

I recently witnessed a rat take days to die in my backyard. I did my best to make him as comfortable as possible - but his pain and suffering was obvious.

We can do better.
Every animal has its place in our eco-system and has a right to live.
PLEASE SIGN.

This petition will be used to encourage retailers to remove these products from their shelves. Then encourage Toronto, then Ontario to ban permanently. BC just made such a ban!  It is VERY possible!
