In 2015, 192.1 million animals were killed because of cosmetic animal testing. These animals were brutally tortured before death, having corrosive chemicals put into their eyes, being force fed pesticides, and having live maggot eggs inserted into their flesh. The way we are treating these animals is inhumane. Would you pour rat poison into a human's eye? Would you rot away a human's flesh on purpose? Would you drill metal poles into someone's head only to realize the experiment didn’t work out and leave them in a cage with no food and water to die? 

 My name is Annabelle, I am 13 years old. Every day I think about those poor animals being killed while I sit here eating lunch or swimming or even writing this petition. Every minute around 10 animals are ruthlessly killed in testing. These animals are being kept in harsh conditions with no food, water, or warmth. They are cold and starving. Sometimes they even decapitate rats with a real guillotine. 

That is the way these poor rats, mice, bunnies, dogs, cats, hamsters, and monkeys are being abused every single day. That cute new L’Oreal blush you just got? That new ULTA mascara? The new MAC facial serum? All of them were tested on animals. The blush was rubbed furiously into a bunnies skin causing a deadly infection. The bunny died. The mascara dripped into the mouse's eyes. Infection left untreated? The mouse died. The facial serum slathered in a monkey's face. Too much got into their eyes? The monkey died. Almost every single makeup product you come across has killed at least 500-1,000 animals in trial and error testing. 

 Most animals that have been bought into animal testing never see sunlight again. They just see the walls of plastic containers. They have awful surgeries performed on them with no numbing medicine. These animals are sick and in need of desperate help. Animals are dying and you can stop it. You can join the fight. You can help get this petition to the US congress. You can help ban non-medical animal testing throughout the USA. I desperately urge you to sign this petition and stop cosmetic animal testing in the USA.
