It is our first amendment right to have freedom of speech. Everyone deserves it. However, Brother Dean Saxton is hiding behind the first amendment in order to spread hate speech and deny women's rights, as well as harass, and intimidate the students of the University of Arizona.

He has been doing this at various campuses across the United States for a decade. He has been arrested before multiple times. And yet he is allowed to remain on campus. 

It has been ruled many times in many courts that hate speech and intolerant language (slurs, telling someone they are "going to hell," etc.) is not protected under our first amendment rights. And yet the Dean of Students has ruled that Brother Dean should be left on campus. 

Brother Dean Saxton is turning our campus, a place of learning, into a place of fear by harassing women and queer students across campus. What should be a safe place (and indeed, is said on many websites to be a safe place) is now haunted by Brother Dean Saxton telling women they are 'rape bait,' and trying to incite riots. 

This petition aims to encourage the permanent banning of Brother Dean Saxton from the University of Arizona campus, because he is interrupting the learning environment that campus should be.
