India is not a Banana Republic , some semi literate politicians come up with Vote bank political agenda furthering rules and what would be more convenient than to appease public at large by first creating sentiments against the voiceless and then passing Tuglaki Farmans banning some breed of dogs. When on one hand the PM, Sh Modi Ji is creating focus in maintaining man animal ecological balance and inclusive growth , when cheetah is being relocated. Kanpur and ghaziabad have made some unrational and non scientific guidelines which any man with common sense will find unpalatable and any animal lover who understands dogs will find disgusting. 

While the focus should be on banning breed dogs' breeding where they are bred under the most inhumane and disgusting environment like puppy mills and some so called pet parents buy only to abandon later when their initial euphoria gives way to more selfish thoughts , the ban is focused on dog owners and dogs.

Sign this petition if you want animal welfare to be dealt with compassionately by animal lovers and not some vested interests driven politicians who will build their political career on corpses of these voiceless. Rottweilers and pitbulls have been banned.But alas the representation of dog lovers in the government is dismal. Now with these laws in place,  these poor innocent Rott and Pitbull will be abandoned on roads run over by cars stoned to death or poisoned, just because someone thought they were dangerous.

Do we brand all as thieves if a few commit theft.No but for animals the yardstick is different, earlier it was casteism, colonialism and now it's speciesim at its ugliest.

Breed is not the criterion for banning, those who are raised aggressive become aggressive and those who are docile  become friendly. The same rule holds for humans and animals. We should really change our mindsets on pitbulls and Rottweilers.  It's completely on you how you raise your dog. The rules should be for the breeders, The rule should be for the pet parents encouraging breeding and abusing them. Train them, Don't abandon them.

 Some stray incidents of dog bites due to some negligent owners though highly regrettable have been used to settle scores with our oldest companion of human race. I am against it and so are many loving dog owners , this battle will go to courts and your opinion is of value to us so please share and sign this petition so that the voiceless have a voice.
