The Amazon is burning. It has been burning for many years.
This is not okay, it never has been. 

The Amazon rainforest is a world-heritage. It is critical in the stability of the entire planet. It's destruction risks the safety of all humans on Earth. It is full of discoveries waiting to be made, which could make profound impacts in medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, biomimicry, and many more fields of science. Instead, the Brazilian government is just fine with letting it all burn to ash.

Rainforest soil is terrible for farming. It is not sustainable, it is not a long-term solution. It does not grow good crops for long. Instead, it literally turns into desert over time.

We the people of Earth, petition all governments including the UN, the US federal and state governments, the government of France, the G7, China, and all other governments around the world to ban all agricultural products from the country of Brazil, until they stop destroying the Amazon rainforest. No more burning. No more clear cutting. ZERO NET LOSS OR WE DON'T LIFT THE BAN.

They have rejected aid. They have claimed it is their right to destroy the Amazon. 

They can have that opinion, but we don't have to buy any of their products of death and destruction, nor do we want to. It is wrong, evil, and selfish of them to destroy the Amazon for short-term profits, putting all of humanity and it's inheritance at risk.
