Ban All Nuclear Weapons Globally

Ban All Nuclear Weapons Globally
The Issue
Nuclear weapons pose an existential threat to humanity and the planet. With over 14,000 nuclear warheads in existence today, the potential for catastrophic destruction is immense (source: Federation of American Scientists). The use of even a small fraction of these weapons could lead to unprecedented loss of life and long-term environmental damage. We must act now to eliminate this danger by banning all nuclear weapons in every country. Sign this petition to urge world leaders to take immediate action towards global disarmament and ensure a safer future for all. Just one bomb can destroy a entire city in about 20 seconds. Only 400 nuclear bombs can destroy the entire world. It would take a city about 10 years to recover from only 1 nuke. I call on the E.U, the U.N and all country's to globally ban nuclear weapons. Just testing these weapons can be a catastrophe for about 1,500 to 5,000 people. look what happened at Chernobyl disaster. In-between 1952 to 2009, there were 99 nuclear accidents, with 13 to 34 million people dead. the nuke has the power to destroy the earth.
