Social media are interactive media technologies that allow people to create and share information, ideas, hobbies, and other forms of expression. However, because of this generation's modernity, many people have their own gadgets and social media accounts. And, as our planet's population grows, there are things people do that harm not only their physical appearance but also their mental stability.

In this petition, I'm asking for people's help to help those who have been addicted to explicit websites their entire lives. Adult websites and other websites that show explicit content should be banned on the Internet in order to STOP and SAVE the younger and older generations.

The effects of pornography on all humans are increasing in many conditions associated with porn addiction, such as anxiety, depression, sex addiction, social anxiety, and substance use disorders. Addiction occurs when a person's urge to watch porn becomes so strong that it begins to negatively impact other aspects of their life. These people are frequently ashamed of their porn use and wish to reduce it but are unable to do so.

Effects of pornographic exposure on children and adults:

• Psychological: The automatic sexual arousal through viewing such sites, without being aware of the biological aspects of it, can induce fear and guilt in the child.
• Social: The desensitization to sex could in turn lead to the objectification of human bodies – irrespective of gender – which could adversely affect later relationships.
• Physical: Studies have shown that viewing Internet pornography can reduce the amount of gray matter in the brain. For a child whose brain is still under development, exposure and consumption of porn can lead to significant learning problems later on.  

Porn addiction is likely to be exacerbated by children's increased exposure to internet porn. Age restrictions on porn sites are often as simple as clicking a button claiming to be 18 or older. The average age of first exposure to pornography is now 14 years old with the youngest exposure as early as 5. Before the age of 18, up to 93.2% of boys and 62.1% of girls have seen porn. Early exposure to porn is linked to later-life increased porn use and addiction. Excessive porn consumption can lead to problems in the bedroom, infidelity, and other related problems.

As a result, we must also hold the pornographic industries accountable. The more young people learned about the use of pornography in school, the less likely they were to view women and men as sex objects. Pornography curriculums can teach young and old people to respond more critically, allowing them to assess and respond to the influence of pornography.

People aren't just passive pornographic consumers. Viewers can use critical thinking to reflect on the messages in online pornography. It encourages discussion while respecting the young people's agency. A home that exudes love, openness, and honesty is a natural protection for the child in the seedy underbelly of the internet. People who have the ability to critically engage with media are more likely to understand the differences between online pornography and their offline sexual relationships.
