Alcohol-related harm is a significant public health concern. The easy availability of alcohol in grocery and convenience stores across our nation exaggerates this issue by creating an environment that normalizes and encourages excessive consumption. Reducing access to alcohol by prohibiting sales in convenience and grocery stores will restrict availability and potentially discourage excessive drinking, thus reducing the associated health risks.
