AI technology, while impressive, poses inherent challenges that have been recognized by the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. They factor AI as a significant issue tipping the world closer to metaphorical Midnight, meaning doomsday.

YouTube, with its 2 billion users (Hootsuite, 2020), is a massive platform where AI-generated content is pushing boundaries. While these systems are smart, their unchecked abilities to learn, imitate, and often exacerbate human behavior are concerning. The online environment shapes perceptions and behaviors; this AI content has the potential to influence billions. How these automated systems might simultaneously shape and be shaped by human biases isn't fully understood. The risk and uncertainties are too great.
