At this crucial time post wildfire  during regeneration, the Dingo will play an increasingly important role in the environment.  Poison baiting, 1080 or other poisons to destroy "wild dogs"  or Dingoes, must not happen.

Australia's apex land predator, the Dingo, is being destroyed by the commercial poisons industry for profit, based upon false science.

Dingoes are vulnerable to the use of poison 1080 used for fox baiting.  Spotted tail quoll listed as threatened under the EPBC Act are also vulnerable.

Any use of poison 1080 in the environment at this crucial time is environmental vandalism and we demand the State of Victoria not  use poison 1080 or any lethal poison either aerially or by ground baiting.

Make no mistake, the term wild dogs means Dingoes and in Victoria, Dingoes are a listed endangered species.

"Only 5 of the 783 animals we tested turned out to be feral domestic dogs with no dingo ancestry." (Dr Kylie Cairns)
