Fires have decimated wildlife  across Australia casting grave concerns about the survival of  already threatened and endangered species with some species likely to become extinct.

State and Federal Governments must immediately instruct Agencies to ban the use of lethal poisons, and to protect our surviving wildlife including threatened and endangered species.

Irresponsible agencies and private property owners are set to use lethal poisons including 1080  in areas adjoining wildfire areas. This must not proceed.

The use of lethal poisons is  irresponsible and will cause more damage to our wildlife. The spotted tail quoll is one such threatened species susceptible to 1080, and in Victoria the Alpine Dingo, a listed endangered species will be affected by 1080 poison control.

We call upon the State and Federal Governments to step in and call for an immediate BAN ON LETHAL POISONS in our recovering environment.

We urge everybody to contact State and Federal MP's to demand an immediate  BAN on the use of lethal poisons. Our environment must recover, our wildlife must be allowed to recover in an environment free of toxic poisons.
