Gilmor Homes is named for a racist Maryland slave owning family. Gilmor Homes is located in Sandtown-Winchester West Baltimore, the historic center of the Black Community and is one of the city's most segregated and oppressed neighborhoods. In 2015, the Baltimore Police murdered Freddie Gray in the Gilmor Homes community. It's time to take down the racist legacy of this city. Harry Gilmor was a confederate calvary leader. The Gilmor family lead by Robert Gilmor owned the Glen Ellen plantation at the present day site of the Loch Raven Reservoir.
