We need your help to save the agriculture program at Reginald F. Lewis, formerly the W.E.B. DuBois Agricultural Program. BCPSS is currently “sun setting” the agricultural programs. R. F. Lewis is gone to the first CTE agricultural program and is currently the only program not at a charter school. Eliminating this program would mean students would miss out on all the hands on opportunities, field trips, and career connections to the CTE program. This program is actively involved in the community helping students get community service hours needed for graduation, with the school food pantry, and has partnerships with some of the major businesses in the city like Baltimore city Forest Board, The Aquarium, FFA, 4-H, MANRRS, college connections and The Great Kids Farm. Students in the program raise plants, learn to garden, hatch chicks, raise rabbits, learn about landscaping and animal husbandry, floral designing and participate in a variety of scientific labs.  Please share with all current students, former students, teachers, staff, parents, and others who were impacted by such a positive program in Baltimore City Schools.
