With BCHS so abruptly switching from an online to an in person education, students are finding it very hard to keep up with the demands that finals will place on us. While BCHS has done fantastically with their online schooling program, the student body believes that no online program is sufficient enough to properly prepare us for Semester 1 Finals. Students and teachers alike have worked tirelessly throughout this school year trying to put out and grasp all of the content as quickly and efficiently as possible. This petition is for BCHS to discard Semester 1 Finals in favor of students overall well being and GPA. We do not feel as if an in person test can properly gauge the knowledge we have gained over the internet in the past months. Finals are another tremendous stress in teachers and students alike during these pressing times, and we believe it is imperative that we hold off on finals until the start of next semester.
