The studios at Chelsea College are meant to be a valuable working environment to get creative and be productive. The problem is, creativity doesn't work after business hours. Some artists prefer working in the early morning, some can only work productively at night and some even have day jobs and can't always be at the studio in the very limited time it is open. The studio should be a place that adapts these essential needs of the students to be an appropriate place to learn, research and create. We are asking the college to make the studios accessible 24h a day, on every day of the week, including Sunday. The learning zone in Camberwell proves that this is possible. Although we know this is a big financial effort, it is a worthwhile investment to make Chelsea a place that offers students the basis they need to become great artists.
