SAS founder member Paddy Mayne was never awarded the Victoria Cross despite being one of the most highly decorated British officers of WW2.

He was acknowledged by both the British and French as a war hero.

For “political” and “war office” reasons he never received his well earned VC despite being recommended for it.

He died tragically as a young man only a few years after the war in a car crash.

The time is right for that miscarriage of Justice to be corrected.

Paddy a proud Ulsterman should now receive the VC posthumously in acknowledgement of his many heroic exploits to rid Europe and the world of Nazism.
