In the United States the Environmental Protection Agency estimated that 75% of American trash could be recycled, but only 30% of it is. At Avon High School our options for recycling are very limited, because the main area of trash consumption, the lunchroom, doesn’t have any recycling bins located inside the room during lunch hours. We are asking AHS to make accommodations to include recycling bins in the lunchroom for the 2021-2022 school year.
