Individuals, mainly young children, are affected by autism at an early age. Some are not being treated properly or getting the right help because of limited resources. We are our children's own advocate!! Let's stand by them. 

If things change, then our future will change, hopefully for the better because we'll have children that were given the chance. If things stay the same then we'll have more bullies, more fights, less educated individuals and honestly, the list goes on. 

Austism license plates would help support local or statewide programs to learn about autism, help diagnose it, get individuals the right resources needed. It could also help support research in finding out more about it. My son who is five has been diagnosed with autism and not only has it been hard to find resources for people to help with his behavior, speech therapy, etc they're short on help. I know it's hard to find people who want to work with difficult children and I'm not asking someone to babysit my son, I'm just merely asking to help with education or send me to a business that offers such services. Just to get him diagnosed with autism, was a year waiting list. Why should my son have to wait that long to get help? He deserves so much better. There are so many good people in this world and my son is amazing. I don't understand why no one wouldn't want to help him. I've had him removed from daycare providers within 24 hours because he isn't at the level of others in the classroom or because he isn't potty trained or because he can't speak. I, of course, had to quit my job and struggle to pay my bills. We already live paycheck to paycheck. If individuals want to get their own license plates or custom one I feel the funds could potentially help.
