End Breed Discrimination - Give a Voice to the Voiceless

The issue

Discrimination against bull-type dog breeds has remained a prominent issue throughout Australia since the state government’s decision to implement Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) in 2004, which focuses on the breed rather than the individual dog and its owner. Currently, BSL has been implemented within all six Australian states, ultimately restricting the importation and ownership of certain bully breeds and cross breeds, regardless of their individual behaviour. This legislation has worked to further the discrimination against bull-type dogs throughout Australia, ultimately resulting in the vilification, abandonment and euthanization of thousand of Australian Bullies every year. Where will it end? Sign the petition to help put a stop to breed discrimination by giving a voice to the voiceless.
