I want to be able to have the current law redacted which deals with the ban of lewd and sexualy explicit Japanese products from anime and manga as well as figures and video games. By banning these products it prevents any artistic expression from Japanese and Australian artists who produce these products as well as the suppression of people’s freedom of choice by not allowing fans of these products to obtain them by limiting the choices they have to watch, read, play or buy.

In a community where a lot of people have self esteem issues as well as mental conditions such as depression and anxiety, these people will no longer be able to find solace and comfort in what they hold dear only hindering any chance of them bettering themselves if this is what they like. What’s even more disgusting is the labelling of this offence being considered under the trafficking and obtaining of child pornography with the belief that showing this media to children will make them ok with an adult sexually assaulting them which is a complete and utter joke of an excuse.
