Anime/manga being out right banned from Australia is out right ridiculous. If you saw the politician who presented the idea of getting anime/manga banned it's clear that he himself or anyone in his "team"  Has ever watched the mentioned anime (sword art online, shield hero, no game no life. etc) for its actual purpose. to entertain. it's fiction. no one is actually hurt or perpetuates people do as such. Things like this form of entertainment being banned is a stepping stone to much darker forms of control. What's next. Game of thrones? That show is very dark but it's fiction. Not even historical or anything of that manner.
