Students at Austin Peay State University has decided to come together and rally signatures for the economical injustices we are experiencing. Since the Global Pandemic happened more then half of the students at APSU has had to transition to online classes to ensure we do our part in sustaining our health and prevent the exposure of COVID-19. We are grateful to be able to continue our education, but the additional fees we are paying is troubling. This includes the online class fees we are paying. This includes lab fees that are we are not actively able to use. We do not feel that it is right we are still expected to pay these fees when we aren't able to use the lab equipment. We want to stop exposure of this virus and prevent the spread, so we choose to stay at home and take online courses, yet we are burdened with an expensive fee. We hope this gives the University something to think about when deciding what to do going forward for the students that chose to continue their education regardless of what life has thrown our way. We hope that as we continue to do our part, Austin Peay State University does it's part as well.
