Every day, hundreds of animals are hurt and killed, whilst we humans, enjoy ours. Animals are just like us, they have feelings, they have families and they also have a wish where they can be treated properly and fairly compared to humans. Please help us with our fight against the department and assist in stoping and preventing animal cruelty.

What is Animal Cruelty?

Animal cruelty is often charaterised as treating ur animals poorly. It is seperated into 2 different sections, negelect and intentional. Negelect refers to the failure of providing the animals with basic everyday needs such as food, shelter, water and necessary care. The main one that we will focus on is intentional abuse to animals. This means that we will focus on animals that are abused reguarly and for a certain reason. (scientific research, money or entertainment).

• Illegal immigration

Examples in Depth:

Grey Hound racing: Grey hounds are one of the most pooriest treated animals. Grey hounds are bought at a young age and then trained to race. As the grey hounds have to be skinny and fast, they are supplied with limited food and carelessly taken supervision of. The problem however, does not lie here. It is the fact that Grey hound owners sell the grey hounds when it is not making any profit and if that can not be done, then the dog is tortured until death. Grey hounds should be treated in the way us humans treat each other, filled with happiness and kindness. We need to stop this type of action Immediately.

Why Does Animal Cruelty Happen?

Different types of animal cruelty occur for different reasons, but the main ones that occur in Australia is for product research, entertainment and product use. As in product research, it means that animals are abused and tested on by being exposed to all type of prehand products so that we will know what it is like. Humans do this because humans would not have to suffer at all, but, the funny things is, some animals are completely different to humans and can differ in reactions and yet researchers still test it on them. Entertainment can mean two things, (killing and abusing the animal for entertainment or using the animals to provide entertainment). Both of these doings are wrong. Killing the animals should be stopped and animal entertainment such as dog fighting and grey hound fighting should be banned to stop future abusement. Last of all, one of the most basic and popular problems is using the animal to create products. Example would be to Skin the sheep for its wool and killing crocodiles for leather.

In this case, donating is not neccessary but we do need to raise this problem. We encourage the peoples believers to sign this petition so that there will be future awarness towards animal abusement. If you have already done so and want to do more, little things such as telling your neighbours to feed their dogs and telling them to stop hurting their pets counts as well.
