Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruitment sites, has added its name to the growing number of Marin County businesses that support the Amazon to Reuse Boxes Initiative.

The Amazon initiative asks Amazon to run a pilot Pickup Program in which delivery trucks pick up Amazon boxes and plastic mailers on subsequent deliveries and take them back to Amazon warehouses for reuse.

Glassdoor is headquartered in Mill Valley, employs over 900 people and advocates “workplace transparency”. Christian Sutherland-Wong, CEO at Glassdoor, says, “As a resident of Marin I would love for Amazon to do this. We are supportive.”

Glassdoor joins two other of the county’s largest employers that support the initiative - College of Marin and the Marin Healthcare District (Marin General).
