NO BAIL for Craig's murderers

NO BAIL for Craig's murderers
The Issue
On Saturday, 30 November 2019, Craig was with friends and decided to head home. On his way home, he lost control of his car where he came to a stop on the verge of the road.
Three males approached his vehicle seeing an opportunity to steal his car. They smashed his window, pulled him out through the window and while he begged them not to take his car, they brutally attacked and beat him with bricks until he lost consciousness.
They dragged him and threw him behind his car, where one of the three suspects stabbed him with a large knife in his back, inflicting severe internal bleeding.
They put his body in the back seat of his car and went to fetch the rest (4) of their friends. The suspects wanted to dump his body right there in the bush but one of the others suggested dumping his body away from where they lived as the locals would be able to identify them as suspects.
Craig’s body was dumped at Monwasbisi Beach in Khayelitsha and discovered the next afternoon by local fisherman.
In the meantime, his family frantically searched for him and filed a missing person’s report.
It was only on the Monday when we contacted the Mortuary that we discovered he was there as an unidentified male, as he was found in only his underwear.
The three suspects have been charged with murder, kidnap, assault, hijacking and theft. They are between the ages of 18 - 23 and are known drug addicts with existing restraining orders taken out against them by their parents. Some even have long conviction lists…
Our family cannot come to terms with his death nor the savage way in which he was killed. His mother still can't bear to hear any details of his death and what he went through.
We are appealing to everyone to help us ensure that his murderers DO NOT get bail!
