When is the last time a manufacturer of model trains did a run of this particular model? Who knows! There's hardly any information on the internet. But when they come up on eBay they always get bid to the moon because they're in demand. 

This is a call to Athearn Trains or Atlas Model Railroad Co. to see if someone can step up to the plate and get another run of these models pushed out. The Rock needs your support today and thousands of CRIP modelers are looking to add these engines to their fleets. With the advances in DCC, lighting, and details these would easily sell out and pre-orders would be bountiful. Athearn you already did a re-run of the GP38-2's, and Atlas (albeit using the wrong shade of blue) you have a gorgeous GP40 model available with LokSound.

We need this to happen. So who is going to do it?
