Teen Mom 2 star, 22 year old Jenelle Evans has a strong history of neglect and abuse toward her pets. On August 6th. 2014, the episode entitled "Harder than it looks", airs on MTV where Jenelle is filmed on a rampage screaming at her dogs. A large Husky (Moogan) & a Pit Bull (JaX) locked together in a cage that was far too small for either dog, let alone together. The Husky couldn't stand all the way. In the small cage, they stood covered in their filth. She is seen dragging one of the dogs across the floor by its collar, and resists to hit one dog. She repeats how much she hates Moogan, and opens the door to encourage the dog to run away. When I saw this scene, my heart sank and I know much of America agrees that this was absolutely repulsive. Just four days earlier, 2 girls (Karri Lynn Morris & Devyn Rae Norman) were arrested after their concerned request to investigate the welfare of Moogan went unresolved. The girls found Moogan tied to a tree. He had wrapped his leash around the tree and could not reach his water. He also had no shelter and a storm was en route. Please keep in mind that huskys are snow dogs. Their coats are very thick and to leave a husky exposed in the heat of the North Carlolina summer with no water in reach can yield tragic consequences. The local Animal Control responded and (often as they do disregard cases of abuse) they only left a notice to Jenelle requesting shelter for the dog. The girls took Moogan. I probably would have done the same thing as would many people that would be concerned about the immediate welfare of poor Moogan. Jenelle and Nathan pressed felony charges of larceny on the girls. I have started this petition to request that the ASPCA please remove her animals and rehome them, and equally important to stop her from acquiring any new pets in the future. We should take into consideration any legal consequences that she should face in regards to neglect and abuse of animals. I would also like to try to get the charges dropped on the two girls that attempted to save Moogan from such neglect. They should not be punished for caring. I have done some research and this is a timeline of known and documented abuse & neglect of Jenelle's pets in the past. A couple if years ago, Jenelle had a pit bull named Brody that she abandoned after a jail stint. Jenelle begins dating Nathan, within weeks they were living together and he brought with him 2 husky dogs. Moogan is one we see abused in the episode, but we don't know what ever became of the other Husky. Six weeks after dating, Jenelle and Nathan get a Pit Bull puppy and name him JaX. There are pictures of JaX as a normal healthy puppy, and then at a point, it appears that the puppy has a broken tail. Jenelle claims that she received the puppy with a broken tail. Now, over a year later, JaX's tail appears that it has never been treated. I can imagine he has spent a lot of the last year in agony walking around with a broken wagging limb. This bone not healing properly will eventually cause painful arthritis. 7 months after the couple got JaX, they got a Siamese kitten and named her Skyye. They still have Skyye as far as is known. Please take into consideration that she was aware of the cameras rolling when she displayed such hatred and aggression towards those poor dogs. Imagine what could have happened had there been no film crew. Jenelle has a long track record of domestic abuse, she has not had custody of her son Jace for good reason. She is clearly not a responsible or even humane pet owner. I know that there are people out there that would give these animals great lives. If we ignore this and let her continue on with this abuse, we are not just failing Jenelle's pets, but all of the people that don't see this as abuse & neglect.
