Nearly three years ago, a devastating fire destroyed the building that once housed Madia's Grocery, located at 316 Castle St, Geneva, NY. Public records indicate that you are the owners of this property. Despite the passage of time, the damaged structure remains standing, posing both an environmental hazard and an eyesore on our community.

We recognize that the removal of the building may be complicated due to the proximity of Castle Creek. However, three years should have been sufficient time to secure the necessary permits and develop a plan for its removal. If you remain uncertain about the future of this property, we urge you to at least clear the site by removing the structure and leaving the lot vacant. Doing so would be greatly appreciated by the community.
