Recent events (both positive and negative) in sports have made it obvious that homophobic attitudes are no longer acceptable.  Between Kobe Bryant's homophobic slurs and then apology and Suns' CEO Rick Welts' coming out, the time is right for a change in public perception and support.

Please sign this petition to get the Washington Redskins to make an "It Gets Better" video in support of LGBTQ youth. This video series, started by Dan Savage, features adults explaining that life gets better when one grows up (see more information here: http://www.itgetsbetter.org/pages/about-it-gets-better-project/). The San Francisco Giants just agreed to produce a video, and so should the Redskins.  We should want the team of our nation's captial to be a leader of this cause!
