As a family benefiting from the Utah Fits all Scholarship, we, along with many others in our situation, frequently find ourselves under financial stress. The scholarship recipients are predominantly low-income families who cannot afford to pay out of pocket and then wait a month to be reimbursed. The addition of Amazon on ClassWallet, a part of the scholarship, could radically alter this and ease our burden. 

Amazon is one of America's key online retailers, offering a myriad of goods and services. In a nationwide survey from CivicScience in 2020, 89% of total adults in the U.S. reported that they shop on Amazon, offering a clear picture of its widespread usage (CivicScience, 2020). With such a high prevalence, the incorporation of this platform to the ClassWallet poses numerous benefits.

For the scholarship beneficiaries in Utah, this inclusion would offer greater flexibility in purchasing educational materials and other necessities without having to struggle financially. Especially in these trying times, every penny counts for families like us. It would serve as a more seamless and holistic approach to supplement the needs of families invested in this scholarship program.

We are urging ACE to take a step forward and include Amazon in the ClassWallet for the betterment of all Utah Fits all Scholarship recipients. We firmly believe that this will promote ease of use, enhance convenience and accessibility, and help in balancing out our day-to-day financial scales.
