Dear Friends of the Ravenscroft Reserve Initiative,

We hope you are all cozily soaking in the colorful change of seasons and finding time to enjoy the flamboyant foliage of our neighborhood trees.

The RRI, in partnership with Asheville GreenWorks, continues to gather momentum and move forward in our mission to preserve the half-acre of urban forest and 22 mature oaks in Asheville's South Slope. We are writing to update you about the Rootball On-line Auction which is going on now through October 18. Please visit the Asheville GreenWorks website at https://www.ashevillegreenworks.org/ and see if any items catch your fancy. Proceeds for items such as certain books, pottery, a stay in Lake Lure, an ENO hammock, and river gear from Waterways will be specifically dedicated to helping the RRI.
