Hey everyone!
If you"ve clicked on this petition it means you're either a graduate or a person who cares for a graduate/s. This petition is to show the support for a "normal graduation." A lot of graduates don't want graduation that has happened in the last 2 years- in the parking lot with 10 people in your slot. 

The idea is to do graduation on the field at KVHS.
Essentially, we would have chairs spread out across the field, a stage on one end, and the typical speakers and mics that are in a ceremony. If we do it this way, we are safe from potential regulations and mandates that could arise since the chairs would be spread apart. In addition, students would be able to choose who they are sitting beside. This happens a lot in the United States, so why couldn't we do it here.
Moreover, this would cost the same (if not less) than a parking lot graduation would. We have hundreds of chairs inside of the school and speakers and mics already. The only real cost would be building the stage and the time (that many people would volunteer for) to set everything up. 

Please sign this petition if you want this as graduation for yourself, or have a loved one who wants this as well. This petition will be brought forward to Mrs. Jensen presented by a couple of grads at some point in the near future.
