This policy should be changed to state that individuals who have parental consent and sufficient funds should be allowed to receive gender-confirming surgery. Anybody (18 and under with parental consent) should be allowed to have the procedure, and individuals should also be allowed to have access to hormonal treatment. The age restriction should be eliminated, everyone should be allowed to receive treatment.
