YouTube star, David Dobrik, is currently participating in the "No Place For Hate Tour" an anti-bullying campaign that brings public speakers into high-schools to discuss the repercussions of bullying and how to cope. The event is held by ASA High School Tours and sponsored by the US Marine Corps and the Anti-Defamation League.

Dobrik is famously known for his "prank vlogs" that star his revolving group of mainly young attractive white friends. Recently former members of his vlogs known as the "vlog squad" have come forward to discuss the abusive and manipulative tactics used within the group. Former members Trisha Paytas, "Big Nik" Nik Keswani, and Seth Francois, all detail a toxic work environment where the unspoken rule "If your not okay with it, you won't be featured in the video" leads its members to accept treatment and participate in behaviors they wouldn't otherwise be comfortable doing.

In a YouTube climate where creators are making millions from their videos and David's are some of the most popular on the platform; a feature on his channel can literally elevate someone from a life of poverty to a life of wealth and privilege. Dobrik has unweilding power which he uses without regard -going so far as to film Trisha Paytas naked without her consent, "pranking" seth into kissing a masked 45 yr old man he was told was a young women, and using Nik's dwarfism as a joke by laughing about his height and his ability to date women. His friends are forced to accept this treatment or risk isolation from the group. This is the definition of bullying and illustrates how group manipulation works.

These examples only represent a small collection of the offensive behavior he has taken part in. Since the inception of Dobrik's vlogs he has used stereotypes to turn his real life friends into offensive characters like "Corina the hot slutty girl" or "Dom the promiscuous Eastern European drug dealer". He portrays racism, homophobia, and misogyny as "comedy" and shouldn't be allowed to educate minors.
