Arriva bus service are looking  at stopping  the X1 bus service from Runcorn to Liverpool as of January 2020. This is an invaluable service to the people of Runcorn who work in Liverpool or go there to shop or socialise. It is also invaluable to the elderly and disabled who have bus passes and can't afford trains or don't drive and who maybe can't sit for the nearly  two  hours on the alternative 500 service. Or for families who travel to Liverpool for the many activities they put on for the public for whom train travel would be a really expensive day out that they may not be able  to afford  and taking the 500 means half the day is taken up with bus travel and possible tired and bored children.  We need this service in Runcorn and we need to come together to stop  them from canceling this much needed and from what I've  seen (packed buses)  very much used service. So please sign and let's get arriva to change their minds and keep our X1 bus, we've lost enough bus services and routes lately in Runcorn so let's be heard and stop them cancelling more because once it's gone we may never get it back!!!
