47 Spy Pond Lane will be discussed again at the 7/25/19 Con Comm meeting.  The meeting will be held at Town Hall Annex, 2nd floor conference room (730 Massachusetts Ave.), and the 47 Spy Pond item will be heard at 9:20 pm.  This is expected to be the last opportunity for public comments. If you cannot attend and want to register your concerns, please send your comments to the Con Comm administrator at: esullivan@town.arlington.ma.us.  All comments must be received by 7pm on 7/25. 

Again, this is about a proposed development of a second house on that lot.  The developer wants to build a very large house that extends well into the 100' protected buffer zone.  If this is allowed this will set a negative precedent allowing new construction deep in the protected wetlands buffer zone.  The wetlands' buffer provides very important protection to the pond, wildlife, erosion prevention, and other benefits.  Public engagement continues to be very important in showing the Con Comm that the town cares about enforcing our regulations and protecting Spy Pond and other Arlington wetlands.
