Harmless Psychedelics such as LSD and Psilocybin have been stigmatized and criminalized since the 1970's it is time for this to change. Numerous studies have proven that these substances are beneficial for medical use and cause little to no harm whatsoever, however they still remain a Schedule 1 drug, and because of this countless American citizens have been thrown into prison for a victim-less crime. As our society evolves we must be willing to change our way of thinking and take a long look at our old laws and evaluate if they truly deserve to remain in our culture. It is time to make a change and decriminalize these helpful substances.
