Yavapai County has revoked the Use Permit for Montezuma Rimrock Water Company’s (MRWC) Controversial Well #4 drilled next to Montezuma Well National Monument Without Well#4, the community only has the capacity for 92 homes yet is serving close to 200. MRWC has also missed an ADEQ Consent Order deadline to have the arsenic treatment plant installed. Customers have been forced to obtain bottled water for last two years. Customers deserve a reliable safe water supply. The Arizona Corporation Commission has ignored the crisis for too long. It's time for the ACC to hold public hearings to revoke MRWC's certificate to operate and bring in competent management to operate the water company.
