The reason why I am starting this petition is because I know some athletes who attend Bishop McDevitt as well as people who are coaches in various sports at Bishop McDevitt in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. From what the people I know at McDevitt have told me, the school board and administration are closing the school based on the enrollment number of students at the school, which according to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA), their total enrollment at Bishop McDevitt is 297 students, 179 male students and 118 female students. These students deserve to continue their athletic and academic careers at Bishop McDevitt High School. If you could please sign and share this petition with everyone you know, the athletes, students, faculty, coaches, Bishop McDevitt community and I would really appreciate it.
