As Covid-19 is spreading globally, the state of California has been strongly infected. Several more cases in the Southern California have been recorded and since the virus is contagious and deadly, all you need to do is talk to someone with the virus to obtain it.

I believe that distance learning is necessary for the health of students. The students' health is not granted for coming to school and making contact with hundreds of classmates as they all live in different cities in LA county and OC. With cancellation of many major local events, it is clearly big gatherings put people's health at risk. It is important for all of SJHS and SJB members to bond together and fight for our own health.

If the outbreaks are resolved before major recognition of this petition, we will just disregard this as a false hope of not going to school.
