The Issue
As of 2020, it will have been 54 years since The Reverend Monsignor Georges Lemaître passed away.
The Reverend Monsignor Georges Lemaître was a devout Catholic who showed that religion and science are not in conflict. Monsignor Georges Lemaître proposed many theories, including the hypothesis of the primaeval atom (or the "Big Bang Theory") and what is now known as the Hubble–Lemaître law.
Monsignor Georges Lemaître is a truly honourable who deserves the upmost respect.
We today ask that prelates of the Archdiocese of Mechelen-Brussel open an investigation into the possible initialization of a cause for the beatification and canonisation of The Reverend Monsignor Georges Lemaître.
