Awhile back, Bucknell prohibited Animal Rescue Club from placing cat shelters on campus, and removed all shelters they found on school grounds. This has left our campus cats without shelter, leading to cats seeking shelter from school owned dumpsters, sheds, and culverts. This is not only unsafe for the cats, it has made it significantly harder to track how many cats we have on campus. Several of the shelters were equipped with trail cams, allowing us to monitor the cats and track which ones were still in need of TNR.

We are drafting an extensive proposal to the Risk Management department of our university to get shelters allowed back on Bucknell property, and to further our demand we have created this petition to demonstrate the amount of support the campus cats have from our community and beyond.
